At times, Gluten Free cooking can seem like something of a dark art. Knowing what flours to use, how to combine them and what they each bring to the table is the key to successful bakes that never fail to impress. So if you're tired of eating dry baked goods that go stale seemingly overnight, then this two day intensive course is exactly what you need.
Day 1 covers the fundamentals of gluten free baking. My cakes taste as good on day 4 or 5 as they did on the day of baking and by the end of this course, you will be able to do the same because you will understand the theory behind gluten free baking. By the end of Day 1, you will have enough knowledge to go away and start blending your own gluten free flours and have an idea of how they behave. If you've tried any of my baked goods at my farmers markets, the first thing you will notice is how they never have that grainy mouth feel that you associate with gluten free bakes. That's because every single recipe I develop has its own unique flour blend that I've developed to give me perfect results every time.
Day 2 allows you to apply the skills you learned on Day 1 by making some of my favourite gluten free recipes. These classics will soon become favourites in your household too!
You will be sharing your work station with a maximum of 2 other people so you will all get to muck in and immerse yourselves in this learning experience.
